On entrepreneurial journey, I have had the privilege of meeting some amazing people along the way. One of which is realtor and author, Tim Jackson. He wrote the book, Real Dope, as a way to show people that wealth can be build through legal means, such as selling and investing in real estate.
“According to Jackson, Real Dope was written to compare real estate to the dope game, and highlight the many similarities that both professions share. “While there are some differences in both fields that will never intertwine, you’ll be shocked to learn the commonalities between both professions. One would be surprised to learn how much drug sales and home sales have in common, both logistically and monetarily.””
In addition to real estate, he also has a dynamic podcast where he invites others to discuss their experience and give insight into what it’s really like to run a business and keep it all together.
Check out this episode where I discuss myths that I had to dispel and barriers I had to overcome as I worked to build my private practice.
